COVID-19: Our Response

A MESSAGE TO OUR GUEST

 

 

Bokampers Sports Bar & Grill would like to express our sincere concern for everyone who has been impacted by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). We take the responsibility of safely serving our community very seriously. The health and safety of our guests and team members has always been, and will always be, our top priority.

 

As we open our restaurants for in-store dining, each of our properties will go through decontamination utilizing ozone saturation technology and hydroxyl generators to kill the COVID-19 virus and 99% of other viruses, bacteria, and pathogens.

 

To ensure the safety of our guests, we will be following all local ordinances regarding our restaurant hours, occupancy limits and dining restrictions and are continuing to follow strict CDC, OSHA, and EPA guidelines for dining safety and restaurant operations. Our health and sanitation guidelines include:

o   All team members will be professionally trained for new standards and procedures i.e., use and disposal of PPE such as gloves and face masks.

o   FOH: Cleaning and sanitizing all visible surfaces including tables, chairs, server stations, bar tops, door handles, and commonly touched items such as check presenters, pens, trays, telephones, touch screens, tablets, etc.

o   BOH: Thorough cleaning of all kitchen stations, food service equipment, and surfaces.

o   Hand-sanitizer dispensers are available at the entrance and throughout the restaurant for guest and employee use.

o   Constant hand washing.

o   Required use of CDC approved PPE such as gloves and face masks when interacting with guests, staff, and preparing orders.

o   Transition to disposable menus, plates, and wrapped cutlery.

o   Designated one-way entry and exit points to promote social distance.

o   A designated team member to constantly sanitize and clean surfaces.

o   Managers to consistently monitor team members and enforce adherence to social distancing and sanitation guidelines.

 

To maintain the highest level of cleanliness for our guests and team members, additional steps will be taken for in-store dining, to-go pickup, and delivery. These steps include:

 

 

IN-STORE DINING

o   Updated floor plans to ensure 6 feet separation of tables and chairs.

o   No more than 10 guests per table.

o   Disinfect condiments and caddies between every use.

o   Single serve condiments available upon request.

o   Large, open-air outdoor patios as well as high vaulted indoor ceilings and appropriately spaced seating areas provide our guests with safe and appropriate dining options.

 

TO-GO PICK UP & DELIVERY

o   Curbside To-Go Pickup: call to order and pay ahead to minimize contact. Let us know when you have arrived -- a team member will happily bring your order curbside to your car!

o   Sealed packaging for every order to ensure that there is no contact with your food from our kitchen to your door.

o   Third party delivery services offer contactless delivery options.

 

EMPLOYEE WELLNESS CHECK

In addition to our strict health and sanitation guidelines, all team members are pre-screened before entering the building. Temperature checks are conducted prior to and throughout each shift. Team members showing any signs or symptoms of possible COVID-19 will be sent home to begin quarantine procedures, and will not return to work for fourteen (14) days, and only if by that point, the team member has been fever-free for three (3) days and is otherwise symptom-free.
